If a person or couple who identifies as LGBTQ+ seeks to join your church, recognize it as an opportunity. It might seem intimidating or uncomfortable, but it is truly an opportunity. As long as an LGBTQ+ individual or couple is open to being in a relationship with us and willing to attend our church, the opportunity to share and demonstrate the Gospel continues.

They may be “non-traditional” students elsewhere, but Mid-America has a long tradition of “mid-life” (and beyond!) students seeking to become equipped as biblical leaders. Begun as a seminary for grad students called to ministry, Mid-America has a heritage of attracting students beyond their 20s who want to further their education, students such as Jeremy Maser. Read his story, and you may be inspired to begin a new chapter in your own story.
