Biblical counseling is one of the fastest-growing areas of Christian ministry. Pastors, church workers, and Christians from all walks of life are realizing the importance of using Scripture to help people address their problems. If you find yourself approached by those seeking answers, Mid-America is launching a new one-morning workshop called “Minister the Word” which will be held on October 16, 9:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. The cost is $20. We are living in the midst of turmoil and unique challenges. An ongoing pandemic, natural disasters, deaths of loved ones, and a general sense of discouragement for many weighs heavily on us and those around us. Many of our friends, coworkers, and neighbors are struggling with significant issues including fear, anxiety, loneliness, and transition. They want and need direction and wisdom. As Christians we have access in God’s Word to His wisdom to deal with these problems. This conference will challenge you and provide you with tools to Minister the Word to those around you. You won’t find a better way to invest a Saturday morning in your ministry!

Taught by Dr. John Babler, one of the foremost authorities in the area of Biblical Counseling, this concise training event will provide an overview of biblical counseling and leave you with practical steps and skills you can use immediately to help people.

Through this conference you will:

  • Be reminded of the sufficiency and superiority of God’s Word
