Dr. John Charping serves as the Chairman of the Missions Department and is an Associate Professor of Missions and Theology. Currently, Dr. Charping serves as the pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church of Germantown, a 2019 church plant. His personal travel includes Honduras, Argentina, Trinidad & Tobago, India, Nepal, Bhutan, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

Dr. Charping and his wife, Stephanie, have been blessed with four children: Rebekah, Hudson, Zane, and Ian. They all love the mountains, being outdoors, and basketball.
