“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14).
The truth of this verse lights the way for times of crisis. Today, our world is in crisis. So, what do we do? Our first response should be to seek God in prayer. I ask you to listen and join your heart with this prayer offered humbly to God by our Dean, Dr. Lee Brand.

MEMPHIS, TN – Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary (MABTS) and The College at Mid-America (CAMA) today announced that Dr. John Babler will become Chairman of its Biblical Counseling Department, effective August 1, 2020.
Dr. Babler is an internationally recognized authority in the area of Biblical Counseling and currently serves as Professor of Counseling, Director of the Walsh Counseling Center and also holds the Warren C. Hultgren Chair of Ministerial Counseling at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
For society to experience true "racial reconciliation," there must be a unifying variable that supersedes that which is causing the hostility. Dr. Matt Akers suggests the variable is Christ and the new identity Christians have and are to adopt as a result of their union with Him. Reconciliation with God is the precursor to lasting reconciliation with each other.
