Why Mid-America?

Founded in 1972 to provide a conservative alternative for seminary training, Mid-America has developed into a premiere institution for theological education. More than 90 percent of our alumni are involved in vocational ministry, with others teaching at seminaries and colleges throughout the world.

Though we pride ourselves in the academic excellence of a Mid-America education, we ultimately think of our impact in terms of changed lives. Mid-America instills a passion for missions and equips students to effectively evangelize. Since 1972, thousands of individuals have heard the Gospel from students at MABTS, and more than 163,000 souls have professed Christ as Savior and Lord through these interactions. Students participated in 10,679 hours of practical missions this past year, representing countless lives influenced for the Kingdom. The Mid-America family invests in our students, and our students invest in the lives around them.

Why Mid-America? Because we are training men and women to make a difference, teaching them to exalt Christ  while they serve their community and church. Come join the Mid-America family and discover how God will use your time at MABTS to equip you for a lifetime of ministry.
