Mid-America has recognized Dr. Derek Westmoreland, Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church in Millington, Tennessee, as the 2022 Alumnus of the Year.
Furthering its position as one of the nation’s premier institutions for equipping biblical counselors, Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary has been selected as an official Certified Training Center for the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC).
Strengthening a 50-year tradition of equipping biblical preachers and leaders, Dr. David L. Allen has joined the faculty of Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary and The College at Mid-America in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Allen will serve as Mid-America’s Distinguished Visiting Professor of Practical Theology and Dean of the Adrian Rogers Center for Biblical Preaching.
