Just three Friday evenings and three Saturday mornings, and you can be competent—and credentialed!—to counsel. Now a three-weekend workshop, Counseling by The Book Live! is a biblical counseling training program developed by Dr. John Babler, Chairman of the Biblical Counseling department at Mid-America. Level 1 training is taught by Dr. Babler, and the new Level 2 training is taught by Mid-America professor Dr. John Hofecker. With either level, you’ll get a comprehensive set of training sessions taught live—all condensed into three weekends:
- September 19–20
- October 24–25
- November 21–22
- Each weekend includes Friday, 6:00–9:00 p.m., and Saturday, 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Level 2 training focuses on ACBC Exam Preparation (see below); Level 1 training is not required to take this Level 2 training.
Upon completion of either level, you’ll receive a Certificate of Biblical Counseling from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary and Counseling by The Book.
Can’t attend a weekend? No problem! You have two options: 1) Access the training through livestream; or 2) Access the library of online videos anytime! Your registration for the Live! training includes full access to the complete set of online videos as well.
Level 1 training meets requirements needed for ACBC certification.
