Peter Johnson
It is difficult to express my full gratitude to you. Thank you for being faithful in giving so that I may pursue my MDiv. After graduating from my undergraduate work at Cedarville University I knew I would likely go to seminary in the future, but desiring to pay off my wife, Kaili, and I’s debt took priority to further schooling. My wife and I were living in Ohio at the time the offer was given for me to attend Mid-America. Our decision had to be made fast and we trusted the Lord, packed up our apartment and moved to upstate New York. The first week in New York I was starting classes in the basement of my landlord (since our apartment was not ready yet) and waking up at 3:00am to pack UPS delivery trucks. Life has certainly slowed down since then, though seminary has proven to be a challenge on multiple fronts.
I wanted to share some of my story with you because it reminds me of how overwhelmingly good He has been to me through this whole time. Thank you for being a part of that great blessing. The northeast is a very spiritually dark area and Kaili and I believe the Lord sent us here for a greater purpose than seminary. We are excited to be a part of both Mid-America and God’s work in the northeast. Please be praying for God’s direction in Kaili and I’s life as I finish up my MDiv next semester!
May God bless you and your family!
