Mirel & Magdalena Albu
Before applying for the Mid-America Doctorate Program, my wife and I were praying before God and searching for His will in continuing my studies in the Theology area. We knew that I should continue the studies to steer my spiritual gifts, but we lacked the financial support. I was discouraged and thought that maybe I shouldn’t continue with the studies, but my wife, Magdalena, continue to believe that God will bring forth an opportunity to do so.
When we came across the opportunity of applying to the Doctorate Program of the Mid- America Baptist Theological Seminary, we viewed that as being God’s way of answering our prayers. In the last semester, I’ve experienced the blessing that our Seminary brought into my ministry and in my life. Attending a Christ-centered University that emphasizes the evangelistic aspect brought a fresh perspective into my ministry within the local church.
I was truly blessed to have Dr. JerePhilips and Dr. Mark Terry as professors and mentors. Starting with the admission process, I’ve felt that I am part of a large family with the same goal of enlarging the Kingdom of God through the proclamation of the Gospel. I know that our blessings came with our donors’ annual sacrifice, and we are grateful for that.
May God bless you and reward your hard commitment to God’s ministry!
