Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary (MABTS) employs qualified administrative and academic officers. General administrative policies, which are published in the 2014-15 Employee Handbook, illustrate that competent leaders are hired to carry out administrative and academic functions for the school.
Qualified Administrative Officers
Within the General Administrative Policies , the Hiring Policy of the institution outlines the process of hiring non-academic personnel of the seminary. Only those applicants who meet the minimum requirements are interviewed by the Executive Vice President’s office. Final selection is made on the basis of the position requirements and the applicant’s qualifications to perform the duties of the position. Once a final selection is made, the office of the Executive Vice President maintains all non-academic personnel files. Current job descriptions for administrative officers are found in the 2014-15 Employee Handbook .
Qualified Academic Officers
MABTS’s academic officers satisfy the requirements prescribed by the Faculty Recruiting and Selection policy set forth in the 2014-15 Employee Handbook . The 2014-15 Faculty Roster outlines academic qualifications and curriculum vitae for the academic officers of the school.
The academic and administrative officers possess the experience, competence, and capacity to lead the institution.
