Stephen Ross Winston is 28 year old native of Memphis, Tennessee. He is a third year graduate student pursuing a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Ministries. He serves at Calvary Rescue Mission and is an associate minister at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Stephen’s favorite thing about Mid-America is the passion for evangelism and missions. His hobbies include bowling and traveling.  

 

 

Nola Cason is a native of  Memphis, TN. She came to know the Lord at the age of 6 at Bellevue Baptist Church. During her junior year of high school, she began searching for schools and occupations when the Lord pressed upon her heart that she should pursue biblical counseling. During a season of prayer, she was referred to MABTS. After attending preview day in the fall of 2016, she decided to apply. She is currently a first-year student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Counseling. She is a member of Mercy Hill Baptist Church in Olive Branch where she serves in the ministry for the youth girls. Her future plans in ministry include serving as a counselor for a local congregation. Her favorite thing about MABTS is the close community of faculty and students. She also enjoys spending time in discipleship with young girls and watching and cheering on the Memphis grizzlies! 

Megan Rogers is a senior pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies. She is a member of Bellevue Baptist Church and serves at 40 Days for Life. Her favorite thing about MABTS is the community.

 

 

Mark French does not speak French. He currently lives in Collierville, Tennessee with his siblings and parents. On Sunday mornings he leads the Covenant Baptist College Ministry in worship. Mark has a passion for music in ministry and plans to become a music minister. During his downtime, Mark enjoys hanging out with people, creating animations, playing piano, and avoiding boredom.

 

 

Christopher Noe is a first year Bachelor student and is married to Dallas Noe. 

 

 

Hassan Dankaura is from Kaduna, Nigeria and is a third year PhD student. He is a member of the Evangelical Church Winning All and serves with the Bellevue Frayser Food Ministry. Hassan is married and has served as a pastor for 24 years. His hobbies include reading, soccer, and watching movies. Hasaan plans to go back to Nigeria to preach and teach in a seminary. His favorite thing about MABTS is having the faculty/staff as a family away from family.  

 

 

Sarah Blair was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. She became a born-again believer at the age of 9 and felt God’s call to missions at the age of 17. She is a 3rd year Master of Divinity student and a member of Gracepoint Baptist church, where she serves with Awana and children’s discipleship. She is married to Jacob Blair.

Sarah’s favorite thing about MABTS is the passion of people locally and globally investing in the lives and education of students at MABTS through their generous financial donations. Her hobbies include making new friends and organizing. Sarah’s future ministry plan is church planting in Hawaii. She also loves her dog Annie!

 

 

Aaron Ducksworth is a native of Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He is a 2nd year graduate student pursuing a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Ministries. He is married to Sherelle Ducksworth and they have 5 god-children. His hobbies include watching television and listening to music, preachers, and sermons. Aaron’s favorite thing about MABTS is being able to learn from the professors. 

 

 

Megan Rogers is a senior pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies. She is a member of Bellevue Baptist Church and serves at 40 Days for Life. Her favorite thing about MABTS is the community.

 

 

Brian Exum was born in Auburndale, Florida and is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Counseling. In 2011, Brian became a born-again believer and finds great joy in serving the Lord. He is a member of Kirby Woods Baptist church and serves as a tutor at River Trace and a Bible teacher at First International Baptist. His hobbies include eating Papa John’s and watching Netflix. His plans for ministry include helping unreached and unengaged people groups understand the Gospel and pouring himself out to the local church. His favorite thing about MABTS is the having the faculty/staff as an extended family. 

 

 

W.T. Mosteller was born in Memphis, Tennesse. He became a born-again believer in Jesus Christ on Novmeber 20, 2005. He is a 2nd year student pursuing an Associate degree. W.T. is a member of Faith Baptist Bartlett and serves at Kid's Beach Club. His hobbies include listening to music, singing, walking around stores and malls during Christmas, decorating for Christmas, watching television, and making ministry plans. W.T. hopes to become a music minister and choir director. W.T. loves church choirs, especially the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. His favorite thing about MABTS is the people.

 

 

Ava Cuppett is a native of Memphis, Tennessee. She became a born-again believer at the age of twelve.  Ava is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Counseling. Ava is a member of Unity Baptist church and serves as a tutor at the Tennessee Baptist Children's Home. Her hobbies include reading. Ava’s future plans include counseling and discipling youth girls. Her favorite thing about MABTS is the way the professor genuinely care about the students and one of Ava’s favorite things to eat are chocolate-covered strawberries.
