Financial Aid

Mid-America has funds available to assist students in need. Various friends of the Seminary have made donations to provide assistance with tuition, housing, or other living expenses. Faculty, Staff and students also contribute to a Student Benevolence Fund to help with emergency needs.

The Student Aid and Scholarship Committee
The Student Aid and Scholarship Committee administers the various scholarships and student aid money received by the Seminary. The Director of Campus Life serves as chairman of the Cordova Campus committee, composed of three faculty members, and the Chief Business Officer of the Cordova campus. At the Northeast Branch, the faculty plus the elected student body representative serve as the Student Financial Affairs Committee.

Twice a year there is an application period where all approved, new and existing students are allowed to apply for scholarships, both General and Specific.  All existing students may log into the MABTS website, go to Campus Life Opportunities, then to the Scholarship page to find applications.  All newly approved students, please contact the Campus Life Office for scholarship applications.  (campuslife@mabts.edu or 901-751-3079)

All applications are to be submitted to the Campus Life Office by the posted deadline!

Emergency Tuition And Financial Assistance/Student Benevolence Fund
Faculty, staff and students contribute regularly to the Student Benevolence Fund to provide emergency tuition and financial assistance to students. These funds are distributed by the Student Aid and Scholarship Committee. Applications can be obtained by logging into the MABTS website, go to Campus Life Opportunities, then to the Scholarship page.

 

Northeast Campus Financial Assistance

For information regarding Northeast Campus scholarships and financial assistance, please contact  518-355-4000.  Relief funds for students at the Northeast Branch are distributed through the Director’s Office.
